NOTE:
The KN-3 was the last plane built by the Knoll Aircraft Corp. The main difference between the KN-1 and KN-3
was the addition of the open cockpit and upgraded engine to a 450 horsepower Wasp.
There were 4 models in the design stage.
The larger and faster KN-4, KN-5 sport bi-plane, KN-6 amphibian and the KN-22 multi-engine seaplane. The Wind Tunnel model for the KN-22 is
hanging on the wall of our family room.
